Meet our 30th cohort of Fellows

Most executive programs teach leaders how to solve problems well. The Vincent Fairfax Fellowship (VFF) asks a different question: are they the right problems to be solving?

Now in its 31st year, each VFF selects up to 24 leaders from across Australia’s private, not for profit and public sectors for ten months of rigorous, reflective work. As Program Director Dr Matt Beard describes it,

“Vincent Fairfax Fellows graduate recognising that leadership itself is an inherently ethical practice. Ethics stops being something they add on top of their leadership, and becomes central to everything they do as a leader.”

Many leaders step into the Fellowship carrying a shared set of underlying challenges: navigating complex, high-stakes environments while striving to lead with genuine integrity.

Together, the Fellows sit with the parts of leadership that don’t have a clean answer and work through it; whether introspectively or with each other, they are supported and able to offer support in-kind. These are the leaders brought together by the VFF in 2026:
