CEO Vanessa Pigrum reflects on one of the busier years in Cranlana Centre for Ethical Leadership’s 25 year history.
Is it really only one week ‘til Christmas and that well-earned holiday break?
2019 was an enormous year for Cranlana. I’m imagining that your year was similarly full and challenging. So before we close the office – and refresh ourselves for a new decade – we’d like to share a few of Cranlana’s 2019 highlights with you.
As well as celebrating a remarkable 25 years of strengthening ethical leadership through deep and challenging dialogue, the Cranlana team delivered:
17 programs across 3 states and territories
26 days of custom programs for corporate teams and conferences
7 sold out Alumni Saturday Sessions in Melbourne, Canberra and Perth
Launched a scholarship program, worked with more than 35 local, State and Federal Government departments and 12 corporate organisations
& welcomed over 600 new alumni into the Cranlana fold.
We joined forces with the 12-month Vincent Fairfax Fellowship (also 25 years old) and renamed our new expanded organisation Cranlana Centre for Ethical Leadership.
And perhaps most significantly, in November we became part of Monash University.
It’s been a watershed year. While all this growth and change is very exciting, we’re acutely aware that what makes Cranlana a unique experience for you is our boutique and personal approach to what we do. And so, in 2020 our focus will return to our Alumni and making sure that we keep supporting you with your ongoing ethical leadership challenges in a variety of ways – online and in person. We’re open to your ideas so don’t hesitate to get in touch for a chat.
Alumni Saturday Sessions have had a strong start since launching in early 2019, and they’re growing in number and popularity so please consider signing up in 2020. Let us know if there’s a topic you want us to include.
We wish everyone a peaceful and relaxing holiday season and New Year, and we look forward to continuing to strengthen wise and courageous leadership with you in 2020.
Cranlana Centre closes on Thursday 19th December and re-opens on Monday 6th January.
